Procedures for Applying for Public Housing
If you are interested in applying for Public Housing you must:

Complete an Application Form.
- You must answer all questions completely and accurately
- ALL adult household members must sign the completed application.

- We will review your income certification, conduct a criminal background check on ALL adult household members, and verify that your family members aren't indebted to any other subsidized agencies.
- If you move from the address on the application or you change your phone number, before you receive a letter from the authority, it is your responsibility to come in to the Office or mail in your updated contact information.
- When your name comes up for placement and final approval, you will be mailed out a letter. If you fail to contact us within the specified time frame and/or if the letter is returned because of an invalid address your name will be removed from the waiting list. Once your name has been removed, you will be required to re-apply for the program.
